The 45 story residential development tower by Uncle Living, designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, offers residents a dramatic vibrant living space with an extensive amenity level on the 45th floor with 360 degree views across London.

Tollgard was appointed to work with the development team on the design of the all-important shared spaces, as well as the interior design of the apartments. We took inspiration from theatre to incorporate elements of drama and surprise into the geometric canvas of the urban landscape. Taking cues from our work in high-end residential interiors we infused the reception, communal gym and sky lounges with a layer of luxurious functionalism, curating arresting pieces from around the world. Gems from brands like Moroso, Diesel, DCW Editions as well as a special commission from local artist Tommy Penton ensured that the design sings throughout.

The resounding red thread for UNCLE Elephant & Castle is the expression of drama and character using rich, vibrant textures and materials. From the retro marquee sign at the entrance, to the strong colours and lines of architectural elements, to the vast auditorium-sized reception and the exceptional endless views from the sky lounge; the residential tower benefits from dynamic, engaging spaces that counterpoise the surrounding urban landscape.
