Rooted in Frag’s mastery of cuoietto and leather, the Kawa low tables set travertine tops on leather-clad legs: a dialogue between solidity and softness, in essential round, square and rectangular forms. Selected wooden legs lend a more architectural edge, and the material language may yet extend to wooden and leather tops.
The design is built on a clear relationship between the tabletop and the base: compact, round, or rectangular surfaces rest on bases composed of distinct vertical elements, arranged asymmetrically beneath the tabletop.
