Designed by Staffan Tollgård and Filippo Castellani for Gallotti & Radice, the SENSEI collection bridges Italian, Scandinavian and Japanese design cultures drawing a red thread between rigour, versatility and functionalism.

An honorific term – Sensei – literally translates to ‘one who comes before’: a respectful form of address that acknowledges the mastery of an art form, skill or discipline.

The SENSEI desk is minimal and refined. The rigorousness of the frame is balanced by the softness of the top, creating a functional yet iconic object. The design benefits from Galotti & Radice’s technological investment into a new aluminium construction fixing which reduces its weight while providing stability.

The desk is offered in two lengths, with the option of a single or double storage drawer under the back-painted glass or leather top.
