The Chanterelle collection of low tables evokes the graceful upward flow of the forest gold from which they take their name. A slender base balance a generous top, expressing lightness through equilibrium. An iconic, contemporary, and rigorous design finds form in Giorgetti’s masterful hands.
The branches and frame of Chanterelle are fashioned from solid ash and are available in different stains. The generously sized smoked glass top reveals the slender central leather base. Three sizes and heights of Chanterelle encourage the creation of a natural, overlapping landscape.
“The inspiration for the design began with a walk in the woods,” says Staffan Tollgård. “At every level, life strives towards the light. The twin expressions of this organic growth, Chanterelle captures both the branches of the trees and their graceful canopies as well as the organic sculptural forms of the forest floor.”
“This was a quest to express elegance through equilibrium; functionality through form. Giorgetti mastered the technical challenges of our vision to find the perfect balance between proportions, lightness, and functionality,” explains Filippo Castellani.
